Memphis\u2019 restaurants have been working non-stop to get you the delicious food you crave during the pandemic. From shifting operations to getting creative with how they serve up meals, there\u2019s so much that goes into\u00a0<\/span>keeping a restaurant afloat during such a difficult time. Why not return the love and make sure you\u2019re eating local? Just moved to town and don\u2019t have a favorite<\/span>\u00a0spot yet? MIFA<\/span><\/a>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/span>With so many different programs to help our fellow Memphians in need, there are many ways to give MIFA a helping hand. Whether you\u2019re volunteering to deliver meals or donating masks, it\u2019s easy to give a he<\/span>lping hand.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My\u00a0<\/span>Sistah\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0House<\/span><\/a>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/span>This nonprofit serves Memphis\u2019 trans and non-binary communities by providing a wide range of support systems and resources<\/span>\u00a0(and you may recognize\u00a0<\/span>Co-Founder Kayla Gore from her\u00a0<\/span>campaign with Citi Bank<\/span><\/a>)<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>They\u2019re currently looking for volunteers, so definitely lookout for opportunities on their website.<\/span><\/p>\n

Memphis Humane Society<\/span><\/a>\u00a0– There are always opportunities to\u00a0<\/span>help out<\/span>\u00a0our furry friends in need. While traditional\u00a0<\/span>volunteer opportunities are on hold due to the pandemic, you can still check out their website for information and keep up with any calls for assistance.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
