With that in mind, here are seven of the best breweries in Memphis you need to check out:<\/p>\n<h3>Ghost River Brewing Company &amp; Tap Room<\/h3>\n<p>All Memphis breweries will tell you it all starts with the water, so it\u2019s no surprise that our first craft brewery relies on that clean drinking water for which Memphis is so renowned. Before the water reaches <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ghostriverbrewing.com\/taproom-welcome\/\">Ghost River Brewing<\/a>, it\u00a0trickles down the Wolf River, along the Ghost River and\u00a0through the Memphis Sands Aquifer, which leaves it soft, mineral-free and perfect for brewing.<\/p>\n<h3>High Cotton Brewing Company<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/highcottonbrewing.com\/\">High Cotton Brewing Company<\/a> is both laid-back and cutting-edge, so it makes perfect sense that High Cotton\u2019s four founders set up shop in the Edge District. If you\u2019re a fan of Belgians and dark beers, visit HCBC\u2019s taproom just down the street from historic Sun Studios to find 10 select brews always on tap.<\/p>\n<h3>Boscos Squared Brewing Company<\/h3>\n<p>This anchor of Overton Square eschews the typical craft beer taproom feel for an upscale atmosphere. While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boscosbeer.com\/\">Boscos\u2019<\/a>proximity to the Theater District makes it the perfect choice for a pre-show beer, its award-winning Flaming Stone brew alone is worth the trip. What\u2019s more, the on-site restaurant is a hot spot for Sunday brunch.<\/p>\n<h3>Memphis Made Brewing Company<\/h3>\n<p>Although <a href=\"https:\/\/www.memphismadebrewing.com\/\">Memphis Made Brewing<\/a> specializes in seasonal brews, you\u2019ll find its Lucid Kolsch on tap year-round. Before launching Wiseacre, the Bartosch brothers traveled the nation, gleaning brewing secrets from all over. Tiny Bomb, one of their year-round offerings, is a local legend. With two locations, one on Broad Avenue and one in Downtown Memphis, adding this brewery to your itinerary or weekend plans is super easy.<\/p>\n<h3>Meddlesome Brewery<\/h3>\n<p>Can you believe it? The craft beer scene in Memphis is old enough now to have started spawning second-generation locations.
